Koray's Letters written from Paris 1788-92

Ardamantius Koray's "Koray's Letters Written from Paris, 1788–92" offers an intimate, fast immediate view of a world in upheaval. Through his letters from Paris, Koray records the atmosphere of the years leading up to and during the French Revolution—its political tension, shifting public moods, and the intense debates that shaped everyday life. More than a travel account, the collection reveals a mind constantly observing: Koray reflects on culture, learning, and moral responsibility, while also confronting the danger and uncertainty that come with revolutionary change. Written with urgency and clarity, the correspondence captures how ideas travel, how events accelerate, and how personal convictions are tested when history moves from discussion to confrontation. Koray's Letters written from Paris 1788-92 is an unchanged, high-quality reprint of the original edition of 1898.
