A History of Kentucky Baptists - Vol. II

J. H. Spencer's "A History of Kentucky Baptists, Vol. II" traces the evolving life and influence of Baptist communities in Kentucky through changing social, political, and religious landscapes. Building on earlier foundations, the book follows how congregations formed, grew, and organized themselves—highlighting leaders, key movements, and the ongoing debates that shaped Baptist identity in the region. From church relationships and associations to the impact of broader American developments, Spencer paints a vivid picture of how faith was lived, contested, and strengthened over time. The result is an engaging historical account that reveals not only what happened, but also why Kentucky Baptists mattered to the spiritual and civic fabric of their communities. A History of Kentucky Baptists - Vol. II is an unchanged, high-quality reprint of the original edition of 1886.
